Notice of Valuation

1. It is hereby notified that the Valuation List for the following Assemblies have been deposited in the office of the respective DISTRICT/MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE.

2. The owner or anyone having interest in any rateable premises is entitled to inspect the Valuation List and take copies thereof and extract therefrom free of charge.

3. The Valuation List may be seen at the office of the DISTRICT / MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 noon and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. daily except on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

4. Any person aggrieved by the Valuation List on the grounds of unfairness or incorrectness in the rateable value of any premises included therein or on the grounds of the inclusion of any premises in or the omission of any premises from such Valuation List may within 28 days of the date of publication of this Notice, give the Assessment Tribunal notice in writing of his objection specifying the grounds thereon. Objections should be addressed to the Clerk of the Assessment Tribunal of the respective DISTRICT or MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY where the ground of any objection is unfairness or incorrectness in the rateable value of any rateable premises or the omission in Valuation List of any premises in respect of which any person other than the person objecting is liable to be rated, the person objecting shall also give notice in writing of such objection and the grounds thereof to such other person.
